A look at David

This was written for 17th May but just got to post it today.

Interesting to note today are a few things.

David's lack of pride. he was a king, but that did not stop him from
dancing in the streets. Imagine kibaki or M7 taking it onto the streets....? 2Samuel 6:14 One of those things that would happen in ones dreams..But David did it. he acknowledged God in that way:

David's Kindness: a good turn deseves another. he takes time to seek someoe that is
from Jonathan's household...And honours him. The guy was a cripple but that did not
stop David from being kind...But most importantly is: it was for Jonathan's Sake

David's respect for God...You cannot know God and repsect him unless you hear and receive
from him: I believe that David managed to succeed in all his endeavours
and battles because he trusted in God. He daily sought the lORD'S
guidance thus was victoriuos. in all his battles.

Moral of the story:

• Pride comes before a fall; Do not let anything cause you to sin and be proud God honors the humble

• Be Kind to everyone you meet. Honor your friends; if they are friends: keep tabs on them and their families....friends are priceless..

• Without God we are all nothing: Once in a while we need to loosen up and get down for God: Dance and be merry: Show the rest of the world how it is done. He is God: He deserves it. If David -a king could do it- how about us?
