Sons Of God?

Hey fellow runners!! Anyone tried to figure out who these sons of God referred to in Gen 6 were?

Ref: Gen 6:1,2 When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.

The so called Nephilim who are mentioned twice (Gen 6 and perhaps Num 13)!!

    From what i have gathered so far, the Sons of God as they are called are the descendants of Seth while the daughters of men were the daughters of Cain. So the sons of God, were unequally yoked...they chose worldly pleasure over the Lord and this resulted in Noah being the only righteous person left on the face of the entire earth!

    The nephilims? No idea.
